Australia - Sydney

- the capital of New South Wales, is Australia’s largest and most iconic city, known for its stunning harbor, world-famous landmarks, vibrant culture, and beautiful beaches. I should mention the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge with a climb for a panoramic view of the city; darling Harbour, a lively waterfront area and The Rocks, a historic district with cobbled streets, markets, and heritage pubs telling the story of Sydney’s colonial past. It’s a city of contrasts where urban sophistication meets breathtaking natural beauty. A City wrapped around a spectacular harbor. The deep blue waters are alive with ferries, yachts, and cruises. It extends into quiet coves, leafy parks, and scenic coastal walks.

We visited Manly Beach located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches via a scenic 30-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay offering a unique mix of beach culture, outdoor adventure, dining, and shopping (stunning golden sands, world-class surf, and relaxed seaside vibe).  We found one of Sydney’s most scenic coastal walks, stretching 10 km (6 miles) through beaches, cliffside trails, and bushland.  Combined with The Corso, a vibrant pedestrian street, lined with boutique stores, surf shops, street performers, and cafés and Manly Wharf, a waterfront precinct with top restaurants and bars, offering stunning harbor views made is a worthwhile side trip.

On both ways we had the opportunity to spot Humpback whales which do pass along the Sydney coastline.
